One of the main reasons I made the change towards becoming an ADI was to spend more time with my children, be "my own boss" and relay the skills I've developed during my years of driving onto others. I've driven many types of cars, vans, lorries and forklift trucks. This variation gives me experience of differing vehicle control, observation & planning. Plus I love driving!
I passed my test in 1992, first time. My instructor said I should think about becoming an instructor - I should have listened back then!
